Missy

MISSY MCDANIEL, PARALEGAL

Missy McDaniel began her career as a Real Estate paralegal. While she enjoyed the work she did in Real Estate, she eventually realized that she was far more interested in the criminal justice system. A few years later, she transitioned out of Real Estate and into a career in the criminal justice system by taking a job working at the Bond Court at J. Reuben Long Detention Center. From the Bond Court, Missy then moved on to working in Judge Blanton’s office, where she was able to learn about the other side of the arrest system by working with warrants and the court system. She also began working with a local criminal defense attorney and, in his office, branched out into some elements of Family Court. Missy has enjoyed seeing and being a part of multiple stages of the criminal process here in Horry County. Missy is the newest paralegal at the Complete Legal Defense Team.
